These terms apply when you create, join or use a Lyso workspace. Lyso is operated by Aspris Media Ltd. By creating an account or using Lyso, you agree to these terms.

Who may use Lyso

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement. You must give accurate account information and use an email address you are authorised to access.

Your account

Keep your password and private task-discussion links secure. You are responsible for activity through your account unless it results from our failure to protect the service. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. One shared sign-in may be used across our products, but each workspace remains product-scoped.

Lyso Free and Lyso+

Lyso Free is a continuing free plan, not a time-limited trial. Its current features and limits are shown on the Pricing page. Lyso+ is displayed so you can see the intended paid offer, but online purchase is not yet available. We will publish the applicable price, payment, renewal, cancellation and refund terms before accepting payment.

Using Lyso fairly

You may use Lyso for lawful personal organisation. You must not use it to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, send spam or harassment, distribute malware, attempt unauthorised access, probe or evade security controls, automate abusive account creation or messaging, overload the service, resell access without permission, or store or share information you are not entitled to use.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you add. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, process, transmit, back up and display that content only as needed to provide, secure and support Lyso, comply with law, and exercise our rights under these terms. You are responsible for your content and for keeping any separate copy your circumstances require.

People, reminders and external discussions

If you add another person or ask Lyso to send them a reminder, you must use an appropriate address, share only relevant information and avoid sensitive or harmful content. Do not use Waiting reminders for marketing. A recipient can stop messages or report a concern. We may restrict messaging or external access where needed to protect recipients or the service.

Availability and changes

We aim to provide a dependable service, but Lyso may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, faults or events outside our reasonable control. We may improve, replace or remove features and change reasonable usage limits. We will give appropriate notice of a material change that significantly reduces the service you are using.

Suspension and closure

You may stop using Lyso and request account closure. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate security, abuse, legal risk or a serious breach of these terms. We may close an account for a material or repeated breach, or discontinue the service, after giving reasonable notice where circumstances allow. We will not delete content merely because a workspace moves to a lower plan; the published downgrade rules apply.

Our intellectual property

Lyso, its software, design, branding and documentation belong to Aspris Media Ltd or its licensors. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of Lyso or permit copying, reverse engineering or commercial exploitation except where the law expressly allows it.

Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Lyso must be provided with reasonable care and skill. Subject to those protections, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Lyso is supplied for personal use, so we are not responsible for business losses such as lost profit, revenue, opportunity or business interruption.

No professional or emergency service

Lyso organises information; it does not provide medical, legal, financial, tax or other professional advice, and it is not an emergency, safeguarding or life-critical reminder service. Seek appropriate professional or emergency help when needed.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for legal, security, operational or product reasons. We will identify the updated date and give reasonable advance notice of a material change. If you do not agree, you may stop using Lyso and request closure before the change takes effect.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory protections of the law where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you there. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern fairly.
